Magazine Articles
The staff of FORWARD Florida, which has more than thirty years experiences, will teach attendees the different types of magazine articles, how to organize an article, the importance of writing tight, and markets to shop a project. Elaine Person teaches writing workshops, is an editor, speaker, performer, and member of Poetry Ensemble of Orlando. She writes “Person”alized poems and stories for all occasions, and is Vice President of Florida State Poets Association’s Orlando Area Poets. Elaine is published by Random House, FWA, FSPA, CHB Media, and others.

Short Stories
Ben Wolf founded Splickety Publishing Group to meet the needs of busy folks like him: people who appreciate great fiction but don’t have a lot of time to read. Splickety leads the writing industry in the publication of flash fiction in multiple genres. Ben will share the finer points of how to write short fiction and practical strategies for taking short fiction from good to great.
